It is with profound sadness that we join our fellow Canadians and members of the Commonwealth around the world in the mourning of our Sovereign Lady, Queen Elizabeth II. Her late Majesty served Canada and Canadians throughout her seventy-year reign and before that as Princess. Many of a certain age will recall the passing of her father, King George VI, in 1952. It is with the same sorrow that we receive the news of The Queen’s passing today at Balmoral Castle. Our prayers are with the members of the Royal Family, particularly His Majesty King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla.
Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of thy Lord.
May Her late Majesty repose in peace and rise in glory.
