Digital Liturgical Music

Our talented organist, Mr. Robert Jan Dukarm, has produced digital Anglican liturgical music as a fundraiser for the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Evangelist. These recordings are available for purchase/download, with all proceeds going to the Cathedral. The two albums are Merbecke: Communion Service (Tutorial), and Willan: Missa De Sancta Maria Magdalena (Tutorial). These are a useful resource for parishes to learn the music, or to play during Mass in the absence of an organist. There is the option to purchase the entire album(s) or individual tracks based on needs.

Purchase Merbecke: Communion Service (Tutorial)

Description: Healey Willan arrangement of John Merbecke Communion Service, recorded for use by clergy and others learning the music — each part (such as the Kyrie) is presented separately as voice part only, organ part only, and both parts mixed.

Purchase Willan: Missa De Sancta Maria Magdalena (Tutorial)

Description: Healey Willan’s Missa de Sancta Maria Magdalena (1928), recorded for clergy and others learning the music — each part (such as the Kyrie) is presented separately as voice part only, organ part only, and both parts mixed.

Mr. Dukarm has recorded two short instructional videos:

We hope that this digital liturgical music will be a useful resource.
