Cathedral Services and Covid-19

In response to current public health warnings and advisories regarding the COVID-19 virus, the Archbishop has put into place the following measures for the health and well-being of our Cathedral Church and parishioners:

Sunday Mattins (9:15 am) and Sunday Mass (10:00 am) will continue as usual. However, if anyone is ill or coming down with a cold or other virus, please stay home until you are well again. The reception of Holy Communion will continue as usual; if any communicant desires to receive the Blessed Sacrament under one kind (the Host) or by Intinction (administered by the Archbishop or Deacon) they may do so. In addition, for the time being there will be no fellowship (coffee) hour after Mass in the Church Hall. We will all observe the recommended “social distancing” of at least one metre (3 ft) apart; which given our numbers and the space/pews available in the Cathedral should not be a problem.

All weekday Masses are cancelled for the time being. In addition, Stations of the Cross on Fridays, as well as the Thursday Study Group and the Lenten Quiet Day, are cancelled for the time being.
